The Quality of Our Surface Treatments

The durability of our strut profiles begins with the right surface treatment. We offer various options to protect the profiles against corrosion and extend their service life. You can choose from the following treatments:

PG (Pre-Galvanized): This is a cost-effective option where the steel is already zinc-coated before profiling. The zinc coating provides good basic protection against rust.

EG (Electrolytically Galvanized): This method involves applying a thin zinc layer via an electrochemical process. This finish creates a smooth and aesthetically pleasing surface.

HDG (Hot Dip Galvanized): For maximum protection, the profile is immersed in a bath of molten zinc after production. This results in a thick, durable zinc layer that offers superior corrosion resistance, even in the most demanding environments.

A2 (304L) and A4 (316L) stainless steel: For applications in corrosive environments, such as the chemical industry or the maritime sector, we offer stainless steel profiles. 304L stainless steel is suitable for general applications, while 316L stainless steel offers additional resistance to acids and saltwater.

Certification and Quality Assurance

At Strutworx, quality isn't just a promise; it's measurable. We work exclusively with suppliers who meet the strictest standards. Our products, and the processes by which they are produced, carry the relevant certificates and quality marks. They comply with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 3834-2, ISO 9606-1, and EN 1090-2, among others. The products are also subjected to extensive third-party testing (NOBO).

Many of our products carry CE marking, guaranteeing compliance with European safety, health, and environmental requirements.

For the zinc layer of our galvanized products, we receive certificates from the galvanizing plant, confirming the quality and thickness of the layer.

Specific profiles are provided with a Certificate of Conformance (CoC), a document from the supplier confirming compliance with the specifications.
